The immune system protects us from the insult of various pathogens and  the innate immunity is the first line of organisms’ defense, providing an immediate reaction against infections and exogenous and endogenous insults. We have long history on understanding the immune system, but there is still largely unknown on many mechanisms.

As the development of nanotechnology, we are facing more and more nano objects in our daily life. Whether these nano substance could induce any immune responses? Or if you could use this nanoparticles to treat diseases, e.g. cancer?
